The Aidan Mack Show’s goal is to ensure that it is fully accessible to people of the English spoken and written language, as well as people who use a visual language, which in this case is American Sign Language. We are thrilled to have Casey Culter and Domenick D’Angelo on board as our English/ASL interpreters. Just a reminder to anyone watching, make sure you don’t shoot the two messengers because the show solely reflects the perspectives, stories, information, opinions, discussions, and commentaries of Aidan Mack. Please give a warm welcome to Casey Culter and Domenick D’Angelo as new members of the team! (Hand waving… 😀 )
Casey Cutler is originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She moved to Brooklyn, New York in 2015. Casey was first exposed to American Sign Language (ASL) in elementary school, because her classes were comprised of 50% Deaf students and 50% hearing students. Casey continued learning ASL in high school, taking ASL for 3 years as her foreign language credit. She decided to major in ASL/English Interpretation when entering college. Casey is a recent graduate of an Interpreter Training Program. She plans to work mainly in legal interpreting settings and go to Law school in the future to become an ADA lawyer for the Deaf.
Domenick D’Angelo is a native New Yorker, who was born and raised in Astoria, Queens. He is a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult(s). Both his mother and father are Deaf. His first language was American Sign Language (ASL) and the Deaf community was the first community he was exposed to. Domenick currently works as an ASL/English Interpreter, and works in various settings throughout the Metropolitan area. He also instructs and tutors ASL for hearing students at a college level, as well as instructing and tutoring the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in English, also at a college level. His prime objective in life is to give back to and serve the Deaf community, for raising and encouraging him in his professional and personal life. He is currently working to get his MA in Deaf Education. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending his free time writing short stories or binge watching some TV series on Netflix.
