The screen then shows Aidan Mack sitting in a dressing room at a Hollywood-style vanity mirror, lined in a circle with bright light bulbs where the camera films her reflection in the mirror as she flips her hair and whips out her magenta, pink lipstick applying it to her lips with a grin into the mirror. Aidan Mack is then seen in the center of New York City, standing in the middle of Time Square where the camera circles her as she looks around with an astonished look in her eyes and face at the flashing lights and billboards surrounding her. The host, Aidan Mack then opens her show as she walks down Time Square’s glowing, ruby-red stairs while bystanders sitting behind her on the stairs watch her introduce her show in American Sign Language (ASL).

Hello everyone and welcome to The Aidan Mack Show!

It’s an unreal time right now. It’s unreal to see the young people making a difference in response to the unfortunate shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, South Florida. I’m heart broken by this school shooting, that left 17 dead and many injured.

But, it’s really amazing how those survivors are standing up and fighting back to make a difference. I’m impressed with you, young people, out there giving us hope. Sometimes people get worried about who will run this country, who will be the future president, our leaders. But now, I see you, young people protesting and making a difference. Enough is enough!

You all are so inspiring and amazing! I’m really impressed by your #neveragain! Keep up the great work, guys! You really are making changes and a difference in so many places, resulting in many companies cutting their ties with the NRA. I applaud you all!

I know people are grieving and hurting from this recent tragedy, yet still you all are standing strong and are doing something about it! Wow, you all are brave group of people. I agree that guns need stricter laws and it needs to be harder for people with mental illness to have access to them. You guys are doing a great job! Thank you! I appreciate all that you’re doing!

I just want to say for the people who are angry with the young people that I mentioned. DON’T BE! They’re amazing young people who want to make a difference in. Which I applaud them. They’re not trying to remove your right to have a gun. They just want the laws to be stricter and make it harder for people with mental illness to have access to guns.

So many shootings happen because it’s so easy for people with mental illness to have access to guns. It’s a serious issue. We need gun laws reformed and improve our system!

I support these young kids 100%. To be clear, we’re not here to take your right to a gun as long as you’re mentally fit. We just want to make sure everyone is safe. As long as the government has guns, we should have guns as well. But an AR 15, for what? They’re for wars and schools are not war zones. AR 15s are killing machines that shoots multiple bullets at once. How can people run for their lives from an AR 15? It’s not right! Its purpose is for war, yet young people have easy access in obtaining an AR 15? Get real!

We need stricter gun laws! It needs to be more difficult for people to have access in owning a gun. Which is reasonable!

I applaud you, young people, you all inspire me!

I want to say something to Emma Gonzalez. You are remarkable! You are wonderful! I am impressed with your strength in calling out the bullshit. I agree, politicians and other adults are spewing bullshit left and right! Lives are being taken! C’mon government, do something about it! Over the years, it’s one shooting after the next.

You, young people, are really making difference. There are many of us behind you supporting you every step of the way to make it happen and it will!

Thank you for watching my show!
