Hello, Fab Fans! What’s happening? I know! I know! There are so many things to do for the holidays. We have to be ready from the beginning of November through the first week of January.
Take a deep breath and tell our bodies to relax. It is not a matter of death or life if we do not get everything done on time, are off budget, or just mess up. It is not the end of the world. We must remind ourselves how grateful we are for our lives and the many chances and opportunities down the road.
It is important to stop and think about how hard our bodies have worked for us to continually perform physically, mentally, and spiritually and to thank our bodies for their hard work in keeping us alive and active. To those whose bodies limit performance in part or in whole, we thank these bodies for continuing performing through the limitations. Our bodies do their best to support our great lifestyles as long as possible.
Facing adversity and challenges, we must continue to appreciate and be grateful each and every day, knowing we will persevere and do our best. It does our hearts good when we give back to people, communities and organizations in need in every way by donating, giving, helping, and volunteering.
Always remember if we do not meet or accomplish a goal, do not get discouraged and say why should I give back since I did not meet the goal like someone else. Don’t be that person. Keep on reminding ourselves that we are works in progress, and we will get there if we just do not give up. We must continue to find a way. As we persist, we are succeeding. Success does not have a final destination.
Do not let stress wrap you up in self-absorption by trying to present yourself with the perfect home, perfect food, perfect party and perfect presents. You will only end up disappointed because life will not be perfect. Yes, it will not be perfect because perfect is not possible.
A great way to show appreciation and gratitude is to open up your heart, look at each community, reach out to them and ask them if they need help, support or love. If you see that they are too afraid or have too pride to ask, make sure you jump in and offer help. If you see a human throwing ISMS and PHOBICs around people, please take a stand and tell them that is not acceptable. We are here to love everyone, regardless of his or her background, community, race, religion, sexual, etc.
It is amazing that our hearts can produce so much love if we simply allow it. It is no excuse to say that we can only give so much love to any diverse group, religious identity, race, sex, background, culture, economic condition, personality, and community of people who have mutually respect for each other’s common good and differences every single day. Love has no limit…
